Whirlpool WDP540HAMZ: 24-inch dishwasher with Boost Cycle
Designed for everyday kitchen cleanup, this top-control dishwasher combines a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish with a pocket handle, 55 dBA operation and room for 12 place settings. Its hybrid interior pairs a stainless steel inner door with a dark gray plastic tub.
Cleaning and convenience
- Boost Cycle: Adds cleaning effort for stubborn food using more water, heat and time than Normal, while taking less time than Heavy
- Five wash cycles: Choose Boost, Extended Soak, Heavy, Normal or Quick Wash to suit the load
- Triple filtration: Coarse, fine and micro-fine filters separate food particles between wash stages; clean the removable filters as directed
- Loading space: Two nylon-coated racks and three 5-inch cup shelves help organize dishes, cups and small bowls
- Heated and Extended Dry: Add heat for drying or extend drying time when needed; performance depends on the load and selected cycle
- High Temperature Wash and Sani Rinse: Optional higher temperatures support cleaning and a sanitizing final rinse
- Cycle Memory: Recalls the last selected cycle for the next wash
- Status and interruption lights: A blue exterior indicator shows a running cycle and a blinking signal calls attention to an interrupted cycle
- Overfill detection: A float sensor detects excess water and cuts power to the inlet valve

Fit and installation
Plan a nominal 24-inch cabinet opening and check the full drawings for height, floor conditions, utility entry points and door clearance. Installation requires a hot-water supply, drain connection and a grounded 120 V, 60 Hz supply on a 15- or 20-amp fused circuit.
