Planning and installation
The exact-model manual permits indoor household and garage use, with tested ambient operation from 0°F to 110°F. The freezer is not designed for outdoor installation. Choose a dry location away from direct sunlight and heat, on a floor strong enough to support the loaded appliance.
Allow 5 inches between the back and sides of the freezer and adjacent walls, plus unobstructed room to open the lid. This is a freestanding appliance; do not enclose it in cabinetry. Measure the delivery route and installation space before purchase. Let the freezer stand upright for approximately six hours before connecting it to power.
Plug directly into a properly grounded three-prong outlet. Match the electrical supply to the appliance rating label and follow the complete manual for placement, setup, temperature adjustment and defrost-drain operation.
