Installation and care

Use only indoors in a temperature-controlled location. This model is not designed for outdoor installation or uncontrolled garages, porches or vehicles. Keep the front air vent clear, install on a level floor that supports the fully loaded appliance, and use a properly grounded three-prong outlet without an extension cord. Allow the appliance to stand upright for approximately six hours after transportation before connecting power.

For built-in installation, the minimum 24-inch-wide by 35-inch-high by 25-inch-deep opening assumes the electrical outlet is in adjacent cabinetry or flush-mounted in the rear wall. The door must open beyond 90 degrees for full shelf extension; the manual calls for 2-4 inches of space when next to a wall or corner. Install the anti-tip bracket when used freestanding. Follow the complete manufacturer instructions for anchoring and door reversal.

The current US product listing and older manual publish different product-depth figures. Verify the actual unit, handle projection, door swing and complete installation instructions before planning cabinetry. Product dimensions do not replace the minimum enclosure requirements. Storage capacity varies with container size and shelf arrangement; follow the manual’s loading guidance without blocking airflow.
