The Frigidaire FDPC4221AS is a 24-inch built-in dishwasher with a stainless steel exterior, black front-control console and recessed pocket handle. Its plastic tall tub holds up to 12 place settings, with straightforward Normal and Heavy wash cycles.
Features
- Five-level wash coverage: An upper spray nozzle plus middle and lower spray arms distribute wash water across the two-rack interior.
- Two practical wash cycles: Normal handles regular daily loads; Heavy is intended for more heavily soiled dishes and cookware. Choose the cycle to suit the load.
- Heated or air drying: Heat Dry and rinse aid help improve drying. Turn Heat Dry off for unheated Air Dry when reducing energy use is the priority; some items may remain damp.
- Simple front controls: Cycle, Heat Dry and Start/Cancel controls sit on the front console. Control lock helps prevent unwanted setting changes, and a Clean indicator marks cycle completion.
- Everyday loading and care: Two racks and a removable silverware basket organize dishes. The removable filter trap and rinse-aid dispenser support routine maintenance.

Installation and Planning
The cabinet drawing calls for an opening 24 inches wide, at least 24 inches deep and at least 34 1/4 inches high. Appliance height and cabinet-opening height are different measurements. Leave at least 2 inches of side clearance in a corner. Installation requires a grounded 120 V, 60 Hz supply on a separate 15- or 20-amp circuit, hot water of at least 120°F at 20–120 psi, correct drain routing, leveling and secure anchoring.
