GE JBS86SPSS 30-Inch Electric Double-Oven Range

Cook dishes at different oven temperatures with a 2.2 cu. ft. upper oven and a 4.4 cu. ft. lower oven, for 6.6 cu. ft. of combined capacity. This stainless steel freestanding range adds lower-oven convection and No Preheat Air Fry to a flexible radiant-glass cooktop.

Cooking and Convenience

• Five cooktop positions: Four radiant cooking elements plus a center warming zone for keeping already-hot food ready to serve.
• Flexible front elements: A 6/9-inch, 3,100-watt Power Boil element and a 9/12-inch, 3,000-watt element accommodate different pan sizes; two 6-inch rear elements provide additional cooking space.
• Lower-oven convection: Convection Bake and Convection Roast circulate hot air; automatic recipe temperature conversion can be enabled for convection baking.
• No Preheat Air Fry: Use the lower oven for single-rack air frying. A dark, broil-safe sheet pan is recommended; the air-fry basket is an optional accessory.
• Everyday oven functions: Bake, high/low Broil and Warm, with separate upper/lower controls, Cook Time, Delay Time, clock and kitchen timer.
• Steam Clean in both ovens: A 30-minute cycle helps loosen light soil. Start with a cool oven and wipe away loosened residue after the cycle.
• Racks and visibility: Three heavy-duty oven racks, two upper-oven rack positions, seven lower-oven positions and an interior light in each oven.
• Useful controls: Control lock, hot-surface and element-on indicators, and Sabbath Mode; follow the owner’s manual for operating conditions.

Installation and Care

Have a qualified installer verify the actual unit, door-opening space, cabinetry clearances, grounding, range cord or conduit connection and leveling. The supplied anti-tip bracket must be installed and engaged. A flush-mounted receptacle is specified for double-oven installations. Consult the complete drawings before preparing the opening.
