GE GDT225SSLSS: ADA-compliant built-in dishwasher
This 24-inch-class GE dishwasher brings a stainless steel interior and a low-profile design to kitchens with lower counters or raised subfloors. Hidden top controls and a recessed stainless steel handle create a clean front, while the adjustable upper rack helps accommodate different dish sizes.
Features for daily use
- AutoSense, Heavy and Light cycles: Select a cycle for the load, or let AutoSense adjust washing to the soil level
- Three-level wash: Two wash arms and an upper nozzle distribute water through the two racks
- Piranha hard-food disposer: Breaks down food particles; the removable filter still needs routine cleaning
- Sanitize and TempBoost: Choose the NSF 184-certified sanitizing option or a higher wash temperature when appropriate
- Flexible loading: Nylon-coated gray racks, an adjustable upper rack, a utility shelf and a two-piece silverware basket with cell covers help organize a 12-place-setting load
- Condensate drying: Uses condensation rather than a heated-dry option; rinse aid improves drying results
- 51 dBA operation: Insulation, mastic and a sealed toe kick help control sound
- Convenient top controls: Four pushbuttons, a countdown display, Clean/Sanitized indicators, last-cycle memory, an audible end signal, control lock and a 1–12-hour delay start
- Stem Safe rack details: Upper-rack supports help organize stemware

Fit and installation
The installation drawing for the 24-inch model specifies an opening 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep, with height from 32 3/8 to 34 3/4 inches. Allow the door and adjacent cabinets to clear each other. Plan the permanent hot-water, drain and electrical connections before installation; the portable faucet instructions in the shared owner’s manual do not apply to this built-in model.
