GE GDT665SMNES: Top Control Dishwasher in Fingerprint Resistant Slate
This 24-inch-class built-in dishwasher pairs a Fingerprint Resistant Slate exterior with top controls, 16-place-setting capacity and a 46 dBA sound rating. A third rack, bottle jets and fan-assisted Dry Boost add loading and drying flexibility.
Features
- Dry Boost with Fan Assist: Enhanced heated drying helps with difficult-to-dry items. Dry Boost offers Normal and High settings; selected options, rinse aid and the items in the load affect drying results.
- Steam and sanitizing: Steam helps loosen dried-on soil. The sanitize option uses a hotter final rinse and can reduce 99.999% of bacteria on dishes under the manufacturer’s specified NSF 184 conditions.
- Piranha hard food disposer: A stainless steel blade breaks down food particles, while a removable filter helps protect the wash arms from larger debris.
- Active Flood Protect: An internal sensor monitors water level and can activate draining when an overfill is detected. This does not replace correct installation or maintenance.
- Flexible cycles: Choose the cycle for the load; the 1 Hour Wash timing covers washing and excludes added drying, heating and options.
- Convenient loading: A full third rack handles flatware and small utensils. The height-adjustable full-extension upper rack and fold-down lower-rack tines accommodate varied dishware.
- Four bottle jets: Dedicated jets in the upper rack reach inside compatible tall items.
- Wash zones and AutoSense: Choose an upper- or lower-rack wash zone for an appropriate smaller load. AutoSense adjusts washing to the detected soil level.

Installation and Planning
The full installation drawing calls for a cabinet opening at least 24 inches wide and deep, with a 33 1/2- to 34 3/4-inch floor-to-countertop opening. Confirm the finished-floor height and the actual unit before installation. Leave at least 2 inches beside the door in a corner and follow the manual’s door-opening clearance, drain routing, grounded electrical connection, hot-water supply, leveling and mounting instructions.
