GE GRF500PVWW 30-inch Freestanding Electric Range with Crisp Mode
A 5.3 cu. ft. oven and five-position radiant cooktop give this white range room for everyday meals. Crisp Mode uses the bake and broil elements for a crispier finish, while two Power Boil cooking zones accommodate larger pans. The fifth cooktop position keeps suitable cooked food warm until serving.
Cooking and Convenience
- Crisp Mode: Designed for single-rack cooking with a 2-minute preheat. This is a traditional oven using bake and broil heat, not a convection fan system. Follow the Crisp cooking guide for suitable cookware, rack position and food-specific settings.
- Flexible cooktop: A 9/6-inch right-front dual element, a 9-inch left-front Power Boil element, two 6-inch rear cooking elements and a center warming zone.
- Express Preheat: GE reports preheating to 350°F in about seven minutes in Bake mode with one standard rack; conditions and settings affect results.
- Two cleaning options: Self Clean handles heavier oven soil, while Steam Clean softens small spills for wiping after cooldown. Follow the care guide for preparation.
- Useful oven features: Bake, high/low Broil, Warm mode, two nickel racks and six rack positions. A lower storage drawer holds unused cookware.
- Everyday controls: Rear cooktop knobs and electronic oven controls, clock, kitchen timer, Cook Time, oven light and control lock. Hot-surface and element-on indicators show cooktop status.
- Sabbath use: Built-in Sabbath operation is described in the owner guide. Enhanced Shabbos operation requires the compatible Shabbos Keeper accessory, sold separately.
