Installation and planning
Allow the listed air clearances in addition to the refrigerator dimensions, and verify the delivery path and door-swing space before purchase. GE sources differ slightly on the depth including handles, so confirm the overall depth with GE or measure the actual unit before planning a tight fit. Install on a level, load-bearing floor away from rain and direct sunlight. Follow the manufacturer manual for electrical connection, leveling, handle installation and door reversal. A cold-water connection is required only if the optional icemaker is installed.
