Maytag MDPS7024SZ: Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel Dishwasher
This 24-inch-class Maytag built-in dishwasher combines Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel finish, top controls and a 47 dBA sound rating with practical cleaning and loading features.
Features
- PowerBlast cycle: High-pressure jets, a rotating spray arm and increased water temperature work together on stubborn food soil.
- Dual Power Filtration: Microfiltration works with a four-blade stainless steel chopper to manage food particles during washing.
- PowerDry and optional Open Air Dry: PowerDry combines heat with a fan to remove humid air. Optional Open Air Dry opens the door after the cycle to release moisture; the Max setting adds drying time.
- Third Level Rack Wash Zone: A dedicated upper wash zone makes room for mugs, bowls and utensils, while the adjustable middle rack and lower XL Item Wash Zone help accommodate larger dishes.
- Sensor-guided washing: The Auto cycle measures soil levels and adjusts cleaning. Five cycles include PowerBlast, Auto, Normal, Quick and Rapid Sani.
- Sanitizing choices: Rapid Sani is a separate cycle. The Sani option adds a hotter final rinse on compatible cycles; follow the cycle guide for eligible selections and sanitizing conditions.
- Everyday convenience: A fingerprint resistant stainless exterior, pocket handle, water-repellent silverware basket and front cycle-status light support daily use.
- Leak Identification System: The system can stop filling, drain and signal for service when it detects a problem. It does not detect every leak, including leaks at inlet or drain connections, hoses, or cracked tubs and doors.

Installation and Planning
The planning drawings show a cabinet opening at least 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep. The 33 5/8-inch minimum-height installation requires the feet and perforated insulation section to be removed as instructed. Allow at least 2 inches between the door side and an adjacent wall or cabinet in a corner. Have the installer confirm the actual unit, finished-floor height, handle projection, full door travel and automatic door-opening clearance before cabinetry is finalized. Follow the complete manuals for hot-water supply, drain routing, grounding, leveling and cabinet anchoring. A power cord is not included. Dimensions are planning references, not a fit guarantee.
