Installation planning

Requires a grounded 115V, 60Hz, AC-only supply on a 15- or 20-amp fused circuit; a separate circuit is recommended. Connect the ice maker and dispenser to a potable cold-water supply at 35–120 psi. Use a grounded three-prong outlet without an adapter or extension cord.

For indoor household use. Allow at least 1/2 in. at each side and the top, 1 in. behind the refrigerator, and additional room for water connections. When installed next to a fixed wall, the manufacturer specifies at least 3 3/4 in. between the refrigerator and wall for door opening. Check the complete delivery path, hinge height, ventilation and door/drawer movement before purchase. Follow the instructions supplied with the appliance; dimensions are for planning purposes.

Manufacturer warranty

Maytag’s limited warranty includes one year of parts and labor coverage. Compressor parts have limited coverage during years two through ten; labor is excluded during that extended period. Coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s full terms and exclusions.
