Planning and installation

This is a freestanding appliance. Counter-depth is a product design description, not a built-in or zero-clearance installation rating. Midea's refrigerator manual requires more than 100 mm (approximately 4 inches) of ventilation clearance at the top, back and both sides. Allow additional space for door movement, connections and the delivery route. The 28-inch width class is not a minimum cabinet-opening dimension.
