Planning and installation

Measure the delivery path, surrounding walls and door-swing space before ordering. The nominal 30-inch width is a product size class, not a minimum cabinet-opening specification. Midea's current installation manual shows more than 100 mm (approximately 4 inches) of ventilation clearance at the top, sides and rear. Follow the full installation instructions and confirm the opening against the actual appliance.

The optional icemaker requires a potable-water connection with 20–120 psi supply pressure and installation according to its separate instructions. See the refrigerator manual for leveling, door alignment and setup.
