Midea MDF24P1BST: Stainless Steel Dishwasher
This 24-inch-class Midea built-in dishwasher combines Stainless Steel finish, front controls and a 52 dBA sound rating with practical cleaning and loading features.
Features
- Hybrid tub: Five stainless steel walls are paired with a plastic bottom. This is a hybrid construction, rather than an all-stainless-steel tub.
- Extended Dry: A heating system adds drying support for dishes. Heated Dry and Extended Dry selections let you choose the drying option suited to the load.
- Interior LED light: A tub light improves visibility while loading and unloading.
- Flexible two-rack loading: The height-adjustable upper rack and folding tines help accommodate different dish sizes. A removable utensil basket keeps cutlery together.
- Four wash cycles: Heavy, Auto, Normal and Express/Quick selections cover everyday and more heavily soiled loads. Auto uses a sensor to respond to soil levels.
- Front controls: Accessible front buttons provide cycle and option selections, control lock and a 2-, 4- or 8-hour delay.
- Sanitize option: A sanitizing selection is available with compatible cycles. Check the user manual for cycle restrictions and required conditions.

Installation and Planning
The manufacturer’s opening drawing calls for at least 23.8 inches of width, 22.8 inches of depth and a 34- to 35-inch-high opening. Leave 27 inches clear in front for the door to open and at least 2 inches at an adjacent side wall or cabinet in a corner. Product dimensions and cabinet-opening dimensions are different measurements. Have a qualified installer confirm the actual unit and finished-floor height and follow the full instructions for utilities, drainage, grounding, leveling and secure mounting. The power-cord kit is sold separately. Dimensions are planning references, not a fit guarantee.
