Midea Top-Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel

The Midea MRT18D3BST combines a stainless steel exterior with a freestanding top-freezer layout, recessed handles and reversible doors. Gallon-sized door storage and separate produce drawers help keep everyday groceries organized.

Storage and everyday convenience

• Spillproof glass refrigerator shelving: Glass surfaces with raised edges help contain small spills and make stored food easy to see.
• Two humidity-controlled crispers: Separate produce drawers have adjustable humidity sliders.
• Gallon-sized door storage: Store larger beverage containers on the door and leave main shelf space available for food.
• Covered dairy compartment: Keep smaller dairy items together in the upper refrigerator door.
• Top-freezer shelf and door storage: Separate frozen foods above the fresh-food section.
• Electronic controls and LED refrigerator lighting: Adjust cooling with the interior control and see fresh-food contents clearly.
• Automatic defrost: Avoid routine manual freezer defrosting.
• Reversible doors and adjustable leveling feet: Configure the door swing and level the refrigerator for the room.
• Icemaker-ready: Compatible with the Midea IM1900MD automatic icemaker, sold separately. An icemaker is not included, and this model has no water dispenser.

Planning and installation

This refrigerator is designed for freestanding installation in a dry, well-ventilated indoor location on a sturdy, level floor. It is not a built-in appliance. The full refrigerator manual shows more than 100 mm (approximately 4 inches) of clearance at the top, back and both sides. Allow space for the doors to open, connections and the delivery route. The nominal 30-inch width class is not a minimum cabinet-opening dimension.

Midea markets this model as garage-ready. Confirm the ambient-temperature guidance applicable to the actual unit before selecting a garage location. Follow the refrigerator installation instructions for electrical supply, leveling, door reversal and initial setup. The optional icemaker needs a suitable water connection and its separate installation instructions.
