Planning and installation

This refrigerator is designed for freestanding installation in a dry, well-ventilated indoor location on a sturdy, level floor. It is not a built-in appliance. The full refrigerator manual shows more than 100 mm (approximately 4 inches) of clearance at the top, back and both sides. Allow space for the doors to open, connections and the delivery route. The nominal 30-inch width class is not a minimum cabinet-opening dimension.

Midea markets this model as garage-ready. Confirm the ambient-temperature guidance applicable to the actual unit before selecting a garage location. Follow the refrigerator installation instructions for electrical supply, leveling, door reversal and initial setup.
