Planning and Installation
Install indoors on a flat, sturdy surface in a well-ventilated location away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture. Allow more than 100 mm of space above the cabinet and at its sides and rear, as shown in the manufacturer’s installation diagram. Keep space available for the door to open and for shelf and drawer access. Confirm the appliance dimensions and delivery path before purchase.
Connect to a dedicated grounded three-prong outlet matching the rating label. Keep the freezer upright for 30 minutes before first connection, then let it cool for 2–3 hours before loading food; the manual calls for more than 4 hours in hot summer conditions.
Convertible Operation and Care
Select the COOLING range for refrigerator operation or the FREEZING range for frozen storage. Turning the dial clockwise lowers the temperature; turning it counterclockwise raises it. Before changing from freezer to refrigerator operation, switch off, defrost and clean the cabinet as directed in the manual to prevent melting frost from wetting stored items and the floor. Allow the cabinet to reach its selected temperature before adding food.
