Installation and electrical
A 115V, 60Hz, AC-only, grounded electrical supply on a 15- or 20-amp fused circuit is required; a dedicated circuit is recommended. Plug directly into a grounded three-prong outlet without an adapter or extension cord. This refrigerator is intended for indoor household use in ambient temperatures from 55°F to 110°F.
Allow space for ventilation, door swing and any optional ice-maker water connections. Overall height includes the hinge and is greater than cabinet height. Measure the installation opening and delivery path, and follow the installation instructions supplied with the appliance. Manufacturer documents contain different ventilation-clearance guidance, so confirm the requirements for your unit before finalizing cabinetry. Dimensions are for planning purposes.
Manufacturer warranty
Maytag’s limited warranty includes one year of parts and labor coverage. Compressor parts receive limited coverage through year ten; labor is not included in years two through ten. Coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s full terms and exclusions.
