Samsung Smart 42dBA Dishwasher with StormWash and Smart Dry in Stainless Steel

Samsung DW80B7070US: Top Control Dishwasher in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel

This 24-inch-class built-in Samsung dishwasher combines a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel front and recessed handle with hidden touch controls, a stainless steel interior and room for 15 place settings. Its 42 dBA sound rating, StormWash+ system and flexible three-rack layout suit everyday cleanup and larger cookware.

Features

• StormWash+ cleaning: A dedicated lower-rack wash area adds focused cleaning for heavily soiled pots, pans and durable serving pieces. Place items as shown in the loading guide.
• Smart Dry with AutoRelease Door: Smart Dry circulates heated air and offers High and Low settings. AutoRelease opens the door near the end of a cycle to let moisture escape; it can be turned off, although drying performance may be reduced.
• Flexible loading: The FlexLoad rack system includes a third rack for utensils, adjustable upper-rack height and adjustable tines to make room for differently sized dishes.
• Wi-Fi and SmartThings: Built-in Wi-Fi supports remote monitoring and control through SmartThings. Connected functions require a compatible phone, the app, a Samsung account and a supported 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• Cycle choices: Choose Auto, Normal, Heavy, Delicate, Express 60, Pre Blast or Download Cycle. Extra downloadable programs are selected through SmartThings; timing depends on the cycle, options and incoming water.
• Useful wash options: Lower-rack washing, Hi-Temp Wash, Sanitize, delay start up to 24 hours and control lock let you tailor operation. The owner manual identifies Normal with Sanitize as the NSF 184 sanitizing combination.
• Day-to-day convenience: An LED time display shows cycle information, and a digital leak sensor helps detect leakage. ENERGY STAR certification identifies the model’s energy-efficiency qualification.

Installation and Planning

The installation manual shows an opening at least 24 inches wide and deep, with a 34 1/8- to 35 1/3-inch cabinet-height range. A countertop at least 25 inches deep is needed for the dishwasher door to sit flush with its leading edge. Connect to hot water at 120–149°F and 20–120 psi. Follow the complete manual for utility routing, grounding, moisture protection, drain connection, leveling and mounting. Allow the AutoRelease door to open freely. Confirm the actual finished opening and installation parts before purchase; dimensions are planning references, not a fit guarantee.
