Plan Your Installation

Have a qualified installer check the actual range, rating plate, cabinet opening, delivery path and gas/electrical connections against the complete installation instructions before purchase or cabinet work. The dimensions above are for planning; leveling adjustment, outlet placement and door clearance affect fit. The leveling legs can raise the range approximately 1 inch.

The range is factory configured for natural gas. Propane conversion must be performed by a qualified service technician. Installation requires the correct gas supply, an accessible manual shutoff valve and a grounded three-prong outlet on the specified circuit; do not use an adapter or extension cord.

Install and engage the anti-tip bracket, then level the range as directed. Allow the overhead and side clearances shown in the full manual. The manual specifies 30 inches above the cooking surface to an uncovered wood or metal cabinet, with reduced clearance only when the specified protection is provided. Where a hood or microwave hood is installed, follow that appliance's clearance instructions as well.
