Whirlpool’s dimension guide and explicitly labeled closed-depth specification give 33-5/8 inches including handles, while a current overview field lists 33-3/4 inches. Confirm the actual unit’s depth before planning a tight fit. Manufacturer publications also differ on rear clearance and contain shared-model cutout guidance; use the instructions supplied with the actual unit to confirm its required clearances and opening. Nominal width class is not a required cutout dimension. Use a grounded three-prong outlet and no extension cord. A cold-water connection is required for the included icemaker and dispenser.
