The Whirlpool WOS51EC0HS is a stainless steel, 30-inch-class built-in electric single wall oven with 5.0 cu. ft. capacity. Touchscreen controls, Frozen Bake™ presets and optional connected features support everyday baking and meal preparation.

Cooking and everyday features

• Touchscreen controls: Access cooking settings and save frequently used selections through the touchscreen and Favorites controls.
• Frozen Bake™ technology: Supported presets combine preheating and baking for selected packaged frozen foods. Follow the food package and control-guide directions, and cook one package or pan at a time.
• Temperature sensor: Monitors oven temperature and adjusts the cooking elements during baking.
• Multi-Step Cooking: Send a sequence of cooking instructions from a compatible smartphone or tablet so the oven can adjust temperature through the recipe.
• Remote Start and monitoring: Connected features require Wi-Fi, the compatible Whirlpool app and setup. Remote Start requires the oven to be set to Remote Enable; feature availability may change.
• Rapid Preheat: Helps shorten preheating for one-rack baking when used as directed in the control guide.
• Keep Warm, Control Lock and Sabbath mode: Useful settings complement conventional bake and broil functions. Refer to the control guide for each mode’s limits.
• Two oven racks and a large viewing window: Arrange cookware for the selected recipe and check progress through the door.
• Self-cleaning with a Steam Clean option: Use the high-temperature cycle for heavier soils or Steam Clean for light spills, following the manufacturer’s preparation and cleanup instructions.

Installation planning

For a standard wall-cabinet installation, the manufacturer specifies a minimum 28 1/2-inch-wide opening, a recommended 28-inch cutout height and 24-inch cutout depth in a cabinet at least 30 inches wide. Provide a solid, level support surface capable of supporting 200 lb. The cabinet diagram calls for 1 inch from the top of the cutout to the upper cabinet door and at least 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the cutout to the lower cabinet door.

These are planning dimensions. Have the installer verify the actual appliance, cabinet opening, door swing, trim, ventilation and junction-box location before cutting cabinetry. Alternate cutout heights, flush installations and installations beneath a cooktop require the applicable instructions and approved model combination. The oven requires a grounded permanent electrical connection. A qualified installer should verify the rating plate, circuit, wiring and local requirements and connect the appliance to the junction box as directed by the manufacturer.
