Installation and planning
Measure the delivery path, cabinet opening, door-swing space and water connection before purchase. Nominal width class is not a required cutout dimension. Manufacturer publications differ on rear clearance and include shared-model installation guidance, so confirm the clearance and opening requirements in the instructions supplied with the actual unit before planning a tight fit. Use a grounded three-prong outlet; do not use an extension cord. A cold-water connection is required for the included icemaker and dispenser.
