ZLINE RA36 36-Inch Dual Fuel Range in Stainless Steel
The ZLINE RA36 combines a six-burner gas cooktop with a 4.6 cu. ft. electric convection oven. Its stainless steel exterior, front knob controls, cast iron grates and wide oven window give this freestanding range a professional look with straightforward everyday operation.
Cooking features
- Six sealed Italian-made burners: A range of burner sizes handles different cookware, with an 18,000 BTU front-left burner for high-heat cooking. Electronic spark ignition lights the gas burners.
- Electric convection oven: Choose baking, broiling and convection cooking functions using separate temperature and oven-function knobs.
- Smooth-gliding racks: Two ball-bearing oven racks make it easier to move cookware in and out.
- Porcelain cooktop and cast iron grates: A one-piece cooking surface supports routine cleaning; the oven uses manual cleaning.
- Oven visibility: A wide viewing window, triple-layer door glass and two halogen lights help you keep an eye on food.
- StayPut hinges and adjustable legs: The supported door and adjustable range height add convenience during use and installation.

Installation and fuel planning
Both a gas connection and an electrical supply are required. The manufacturer specifies a dedicated 240 V, 60 Hz supply and lists a 15 A appliance rating with a four-prong NEMA 14-50P plug. Have a qualified installer confirm the rating plate, receptacle, circuit protection and local requirements before connecting the range.
The RA36 installation guide recommends a 36-inch opening between cabinets and a standard 24-inch cabinet depth so the front of the range can project for safe door opening. Observe all hood, wall and upper-cabinet clearances. The guide requires clearance from taller side surfaces, prohibits an island configuration and requires the anti-tip system to be properly secured and checked.
The range is factory configured for natural gas. ZLINE specifies an LP conversion kit for professional conversion to liquid propane; confirm the supplied parts and fuel setup for the actual unit. Gas connection, leak testing, pressure checks and any conversion must follow the complete manufacturer instructions.
