About this model
The Harman P42i-TC with a 24-inch hopper is a pellet fireplace insert with up to 64.5 lb fuel capacity. The HHT service-parts document identifies the 24-inch unit as SKU 1-90-742240-1, distinct from Washburn’s existing 20-inch draft. The appliance includes EASY Touch Control, a wireless room sensor, PelletPro feed, exhaust-sensing temperature regulation, glass airwash, flame-reactive mirrored glass and a track system for maintenance.
Harman lists 7,400–41,800 BTU/hr input and a 156 sq in viewing area. The current product page gives an 800–2,100 sq ft heating guide, while the shared pellet-insert brochure says 800–2,400 sq ft. These are estimates, not guaranteed room coverage. The 24-inch hopper holds up to 64.5 lb; the 20-inch configuration is a separate Washburn’s listing.
A small surround is standard according to the brochure. Larger surround sizes, ceramic log set, zero-clearance box, direct-vent wall pass-through and outside temperature kit may be selected as appropriate. Photos may show optional components. Fit, chimney liner, floor protection, installation and any factory-built fireplace kit must be assessed under the current manual.
