About this model

The Discovery III combines a Classic Black wood stove with integrated wood storage and customizable side panels. Automatic Combustion Control supplies timed startup air, while the Four-Point Burn System supports staged combustion.

Its 2.3 cu ft firebox accepts a recommended 18-inch log. Solid panels and tile brackets are supplied; decorative tiles, painted finishes and the fan kit are separately selected. Review the specifications and installation manual, then request a quote for the stove and your complete installation.

Standard features

Classic Black wood stove with an integrated wood-storage bin, Automatic Combustion Control and the Four-Point Burn System.

Solid black side panels and tile brackets are supplied. Choose the supplied black appearance or customize it using separately selected ceramic tiles or suitable high-temperature paint.

Required components

A correctly sized approved chimney and connector, floor protection, required clearances and a professionally designed installation are separate project requirements. Do not base a clearance on a product photo.

Mobile home installations require the compatible outside-air kit, attachment and grounding as specified in the exact model manual. Do not install in a mobile home sleeping room.

Optional features and accessories

Optional 160 cfm fan kit helps distribute warmth. Electrical supply and accessory installation are separate.

Decorative 12 × 12 in ceramic tiles are separately selected; Discovery III uses three per side. Paintable solid panels can remain black or be finished with suitable high-heat paint. Manufacturer examples include almond, blue, burgundy, green, rust red, silver and white; these are customization examples rather than included factory finishes.

Technical notes

Heating area is an estimate affected by climate, insulation, layout and air movement. Output and burn time depend on wood species, moisture, loading and chimney draft. Efficiency figures use different LHV and HHV calculations.
