The Allusion Slim 72 is a shallow linear electric fireplace for recessed or wall-mounted indoor installations. Its flame and ember lighting works with or without supplemental heat, and the included remote handles temperature, lighting and power.

Standard features

A shallow linear electric fireplace with adjustable flame and ember lighting, heat-off operation, and a multifunction remote controlling temperature, lighting and power.

Supplied equipment includes clear and black crystal media, 9 logs, remote and two AAA batteries, power cord, side panels, wall-mount bracket and the listed installation hardware.

Required components

Provide suitable framing or a structurally adequate mounting surface and a grounded 120 V supply. Minimum 15 A circuit; 20 A is recommended, with a dedicated circuit preferred. Select hardwired or supplied plug-in connection. Electrical work, framing, finishing and any site-specific anchors are separate project items.

The Crestline surround is offered only for the 50- and 60-inch models, not this size.

Technical notes

Indoor use only. Keep combustible furnishings 36 in from the front. The manual permits 0 in at construction sides, floor, top and back, but requires 5/8 in above the trim for removal; follow all drawing qualifications and mantel limits. Do not bury the front trim in finishing materials.

Wall mounting requires at least 8 fasteners under the appliance manual and suitable structural support. Bathroom installations require ground-fault protection and protection from water. Use the supplied current instructions for final design; these dimensions are planning information.
