Direct-vent gas appliance with sealed glass combustion chamber; use the exact approved vent system.

Electronic ignition, battery-backup capability, factory-installed convection fan and touchscreen remote; powered fan and lighting functions require AC power.

Fluted black glass interior, factory fan and IFT-RC400 remote. Glass fire-bed media is required but sold separately.

Confirm the existing masonry or listed factory-built wood fireplace and chimney are suitable, clean and structurally sound. All minimum opening dimensions must be met, including rear width and depth.

Select the correct natural-gas or propane appliance/listed conversion package. Gas conversion is work for a qualified installer using the certified kit.

A decorative barrier front and fitted surround/approved inside-fit arrangement are required for operation and selected separately. The final quote confirms the compatible combination.

Approved vent/liner and termination components, gas connection, electrical connection where needed and installation are separately quoted.

Approved glass media is separately required: 1-1/4 bags for natural gas; the manual prescribes a thinner, smaller quantity for propane. Exact spreading and pilot clearances must follow the manual.

Available glass colors: Amber, Clear, Cobalt Blue, Ebony, Iced Fog and Scarlet. Optional driftwood or natural stones complement, rather than replace, the required glass.

Model-listed on-site custom surround and MI-USBC-RELO USB-C/reset-switch relocation kit may be used where required by the installation. Optional battery-backup wall switch and compatible Wi-Fi module are separately selected.

Use a qualified installer to check fuel, gas pressures, altitude, fireplace fit, mantel projections, hearth and combustible-floor clearances, and approved vent routing. Maintain the safety barrier and sealed glass assembly. Never burn wood in a gas insert.
