About this model

A traditional wood fireplace available in radiant or heat-circulating configurations. Choose the listed traditional or herringbone interior and complete the opening with compatible glass or decorative doors. A fan is an optional accessory for the circulating configuration.

Standard features

Open-front wood-burning appliance with factory grate and firescreen.

The listed refractory interior is included with the appliance; select any available factory pattern during quoting.

Attic insulation shield is supplied; chimney runs, termination and the required hearth extension are separate.

Decorative Interior panels: Herringbone; Traditional. Factory refractory appearance; confirm the ordered pattern. Not a separately required add-on to the base appliance.

Required components

A complete listed chimney system, appropriate termination, firestops/supports and roof flashing must be selected for the installation. Do not substitute arbitrary chimney parts.

A compliant hearth extension, protective hearth details, framing and noncombustible finish materials are required. Measurements and clearances must follow the exact model manual.

Optional features and accessories

Outside-air kit with inlet hood and flex duct is optional unless required by the site or applicable code; configure it during installation. Canadian chimney-air provisions differ from the US installation.

Where permitted by the exact fireplace and gas-appliance manuals, a separately purchased listed gas burner/log system can provide a gas alternative. It is not included with the wood fireplace. Glass media and ceramic gas logs must never be added to a wood fire. Keep the chimney and required gas-log damper arrangement.

For A36/42C-B circulating models only: FK23 fan kit and BC10 variable speed control, with electrical connection. The JK9 junction box is included with the circulating fireplace.
