This 24-inch-class KitchenAid built-in dishwasher combines Black Ore finish, top controls and a 44 dBA sound rating with practical cleaning and loading features.

Features

• 360° Max Jets third rack: Dual rotating wash tubes clean inside mugs and bowls. A removable utensil caddy and moisture-wicking tines help make the third rack useful for more than flatware.
• 50+ total wash jets: Wash jets provide cleaning coverage across three loading levels.
• ProDry system: A heating element, water-repellent technology and natural ventilation help dishes dry. ProDry Max adds drying time.
• Automatic Door Open Dry: The door opens after drying to release moisture and provide natural ventilation. The owner manual explains how to enable or disable this feature.
• True Self-Cleaning Filtration: The system captures food particles during washing and cleans itself as the dishwasher drains.
• Flexible loading: An adjustable middle rack, adjustable tines in the middle and lower racks, stemware holders and SatinGlide rails in the middle and third racks help accommodate varied dishes.
• Five cycles with ProWash: The sensor-guided ProWash cycle adapts wash time and temperature. Tough, Normal, Express and Rinse Only provide additional choices.
• Black Ore finish: A deep matte black painted-steel exterior with matching Black Ore handle adds a warm metallic look. Optional handle kits are sold separately.
• Sani-Rinse and top controls: A hotter final rinse is available with compatible cycles. Controls sit on the top of the door, with a front status light for cycle progress.

Specifications

Installation and Planning

The planning drawings show a cabinet opening at least 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep. The 33 5/8-inch minimum-height installation requires the feet and perforated insulation section to be removed as instructed. Allow at least 2 inches between the door side and an adjacent wall or cabinet in a corner. Have the installer confirm the actual unit, finished-floor height, handle projection, full door travel and automatic door-opening clearance before cabinetry is finalized. Follow the complete manuals for hot-water supply, drain routing, grounding, leveling and cabinet anchoring. A power cord is not included. Dimensions are planning references, not a fit guarantee.
