About this model

Create a wide, contemporary focal point with the 72-inch Artisan. Its linear burner and glass fire bed provide a modern alternative to a traditional log fireplace without an external flue. Included multicolor LED lighting and reflective glass add depth to the fire, with lighting available independently of the flame. The IntelliFire Touch 2.0 system manages electronic ignition.

Vent-free linear burner; manufacturer reports 99.9% efficiency, not an AFUE or whole-home heating rating.

Multicolor LED fire-bed lighting, Black Magic reflective glass and IFT2-RC450 multifunction remote are included; accessory photos from earlier RC400 packages do not describe this current control.

Required components

Select natural gas or propane at ordering. For the 42-inch model, also select standard or reduced-input burner configuration.

Gas connection, approved framing and noncombustible finishing, electrical supply for powered functions, and installation labor are separately quoted. Battery backup supports ignition operation as instructed; it does not power LED lighting.

Optional features and accessories

Select only manufacturer-approved glass color, stone kit or contemporary driftwood kit. Stone and driftwood kits are alternative layouts and must not be combined.

Model-sized contemporary fronts in Satin Black or Veined Copper and black inside-fit trim can frame the opening. Approved mantel shelves are separate; finish and placement must meet the manual.

Optional IntelliFire Wi-Fi module supports app control. Wall-control accessories require confirmation against the ordered ignition package.

Technical notes

This is an unvented supplemental gas heater: it uses room air and requires the combustion-air, room-volume and local-code checks in the installation manual. Do not install in bedrooms or bathrooms. A qualified installer must confirm the approved fuel, gas pressure, combustible clearances, mantel projection and finishing details before installation. Never treat a framing dimension as a clearance or add unlisted media. Screens and supplied protective components must remain installed.
