About this model

The Quadra-Fire 5700 Step Top brings wood heat to spaces of approximately 1,400–3,700 square feet, depending on your home and climate. Its Automatic Combustion Control provides a timed air boost for startup and tending the fire, while the Four-Point Burn System supports efficient combustion.

A 3.0 cubic-foot firebox accepts recommended 22-inch logs. Choose your base and arched-door configuration, then add optional hardware and a fan kit. Washburn’s can help select the venting and installation components for your room.

Standard features

Classic Black 5700 Step Top wood stove with Automatic Combustion Control and Quadra-Fire Four-Point Burn System.

The timed ACC air boost helps light a fire or refresh combustion, then closes automatically after about 20 minutes.

EPA-certified wood-burning appliance with a 3.0 cu ft firebox and 187 sq in viewing area.

Required components

A correctly sized chimney system, connector and hearth protection must be selected for the installation; these are not included in the product-only starting price.

Select the required base and door configuration. Pedestal and Queen Anne leg configurations include an ash pan; traditional cast legs do not.

Outside combustion air is required for mobile-home installations. Follow the exact installation manual for location, grounding, venting and structural requirements.

Optional features and accessories

Base choices: satin nickel Queen Anne legs, black Queen Anne legs, pedestal base or traditional cast legs. Door choices: black arched, black with satin nickel hinge pins and air control, or black with satin nickel trim.

Optional satin nickel door upgrade kit changes hinge pins and air-control handle.

Heating area and burn time are guidelines, not guarantees. Performance depends on wood moisture, fuel load, chimney draft, climate, building efficiency and operation. Efficiency values are rounded weighted EPA-test averages; peak BTU/hr is a first-hour calculation.

Use the current manual supplied with the appliance to determine combustible clearances, hearth dimensions, chimney requirements and permitted installation. Do not size an installation from product photographs.

Published dimensions differ: the page lists 27 × 37-11/16 × 32-3/8 in; the brochure lists a pedestal height of 37-1/4 in, leg height 33-7/8 in and depth 32-5/8 in. Confirm selected-base dimensions from the current installation manual before planning.
