About this model

The SimpliFire Allusion Edge 60 combines a wide digital flame display with glowing media and three adjustable crackling sound effects. Choose Signature, Classic, Dancing or Chromatic flames, then adjust lighting, brightness and heat by remote or Wi-Fi control.

This 60-inch model slides into a framed and finished wall. Included timber logs and crystal media provide multiple looks; glowing birch logs and decorative spheres are optional. Enjoy the flame display with or without supplemental heat.

Standard features

Digital flame display with four effects: Signature, Classic, Dancing and Chromatic. Brightness, flame, lighting, sound and heat settings are adjustable.

Wi-Fi control of thermostat, lighting and power, plus included remote control with two AAA batteries. Three crackling sound effects offer volume adjustment.

Included media: 11 timber log and companion pieces, 5 bags of black glass embers, one bag of black crystals, 2 small clear-crystal bags, one medium bag and 1 large bags.

Supplied power cord, mounting hardware and suction cup. Operate with adjustable heat or without heat. Two-year manufacturer warranty is subject to its terms.

Required components

A framed, finished opening of 61 in W × 19-5/8 in H × 5-1/2 in minimum D and an appropriate 120 V, minimum 15 A supply circuit are required. A dedicated circuit is recommended.

The appliance is hard-wire ready; the included cord kit may be used with a properly grounded outlet as directed by the manual. Wiring and finishing materials are separately provided.

This size is designed for slide-in installation into a framed and finished wall.

Optional features and accessories

SF-ALLE-BIRCH glowing birch logs and SF-SPHERES decorative gray spheres are separately ordered accessories. Spheres are supplied as 24 pieces, each 3 in in diameter.

Technical notes

Indoor supplemental electric heat; not intended as a primary home-heating source. No combustion vent is needed. Keep combustible furnishings, curtains and decorations at least 3 ft from the front.

The manual lists a 4 in minimum ceiling clearance and configuration-specific mantel rules. Use its diagrams for measurement points and complete clearances before installation.

Finish the wall before inserting the appliance. Smooth drywall, tile, porcelain and granite are supported within the manual’s thickness and overlap limits. Never use an extension cord or power strip.
