About this model

The SimpliFire Allusion Platinum 60 creates a broad linear flame display with a clean recessed appearance or an optional wall-mounted installation. Choose four flame colors and 13 ember-bed colors, and enjoy the effect with or without supplemental heat.

A multifunction remote and three supplied media types—small crystals, large crystals and white ceramic stones—let you adjust the look. Optional driftwood logs add another finish.

Standard features

60-inch class linear electric fireplace with four flame colors and 13 ember-bed colors. Flame ambiance can operate with or without supplemental heat.

Multifunction remote controls power, thermostat and lighting. Two AAA batteries, glass panel, front trim, side panels, mounting hardware and power cord are supplied.

One bag each of small clear crystals, large clear crystals and white ceramic stones is included. Arrange the supplied media as directed in the manual.

Required components

A grounded 120 V, 60 Hz electrical supply on a minimum 15 A circuit is required; a dedicated circuit is recommended. Electrical work and site preparation are separate.

Select a fully recessed finished 2 × 6 wall installation or a compatible optional wall-mount kit. Framing, finishing and any separately selected accessory kit must follow their installation instructions.

Optional features and accessories

Optional hand-painted driftwood logs and wall-mount kit are compatible with this model according to the accessory manuals, which explicitly list its model number.

The Boyd build-out kit linked on the series page is for the 50-inch model; it is not offered for this size.

White ceramic stones appear in the website options section, but the current appliance manual includes one bag. The supplied bag is not an extra-charge upgrade.

Technical notes

Use the exact model manual for final framing and clearance decisions. The appliance is not intended as a primary heat source. Keep combustible furnishings at least 3 ft (0.9 m) from the front.

The recessed installation is designed for a finished 2 × 6 wall, not a 2 × 4 cavity. Minimum combined framing and finishing depth is 5-3/4 in; the illustrated recessed finish permits a maximum combined wallboard and finish thickness of 1 in.
