Planning and installation

Install on a level floor strong enough to support the loaded refrigerator. This model is intended for indoor household spaces, including enclosed garages, where ambient temperatures remain between 44°F and 110°F. It is not intended for freezing garages or outdoor exposure.

The owner's guide calls for 3/8 in. clearance at the top and each side, plus 2 in. at the back. Allow additional space beside a wall for the door to open and keep the lower front ventilation area unobstructed. Use a dedicated, grounded 115 V, 60 Hz, 15 A AC outlet without an extension cord or adapter. If adding the optional ice maker, arrange a suitable cold-water connection and follow both the refrigerator guide and the ice maker kit instructions.
