A noncombustible hearth extension of at least 12 inches is required unless the fireplace is raised at least 3 inches above a combustible floor, as specified in the installation manual.

Maintain the specified 1/4-inch ventilation gap. Front choice and finishing details affect the installation.

For indoor installation by a qualified hearth installer. Match the fuel, rating plate and model revision. Input is not delivered room heat; altitude, venting and fuel affect performance.

Planning framing dimensions are not a complete clearance schedule. The current installation manual governs the vent route, terminations, mantels, facing, enclosure and combustibles.
